The story
One chair. One colorist.
Rudy did not set out to run a salon. He set out to do color properly — lift by lift, level by level, with the toner chosen for the hair in front of him rather than the one on the shelf. The studio on 5th Avenue South is that idea given an address: a private suite, no double-booking, no hand-offs to an assistant halfway through.
He grew up between two languages and still works in both. A consultation happens in whichever one you think in, and it happens on the chair, before a single foil is placed — because the question is never “what do you want” but “what does your hair need to get there”.
Most of his clients have followed him for years. Their formulas came with them.
